We, at Placentia Dental, are proud to be led by Dr. Renee Mulrooney, who graduated from Dalhousie Dentistry in 2014. Since then, Dr. Mulrooney has worked part-time in St. John’s and Placentia, fulfilling a rural NL dental bursary.
Dr. Jared Lush, DDS
Dr. Jared Lush graduated from Dalhousie Dentistry in 2024 and has been working at Cowan Heights Dental in St. John’s. He has chosen Placentia to fulfill his Rural Newfoundland and Labrador Bursary and is eager to dedicate part of his week to treating the patients of Placentia Dental.
Shauna Tompkins, RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Shauna Tompkins graduated in 2012 from The Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in Mississauga, Ontario. She has 11 years of experience working in Baie Verte, NL, on the west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, commuting from her home in Dunville. Shauna looks forward to working closer to home at Placentia Dental.
Courtney Walsh, RDA (Registered Dental Assistant)
Courtney Walsh graduated from Keyin College in 2015. She began her dental career with Dr. Mulrooney, completing her work term alongside her. Courtney is excited to embark on this new chapter with our current and new patients.
Ashley Rodgers, Dental Receptionist
Ashley Rodgers is relatively new to the dental field, having started in April with Dr. Mulrooney. She has already gained significant knowledge and will be the friendly face behind the desk and the voice you hear on the phone when booking your appointments.
